My name is Sumayyah Aristide. I am a friendly and energetic individual with a passion for teaching and sparking interest in young minds. Although I was born in Maryland, my family are native New Yorkers. I lived overseas for most of my childhood before moving to North Carolina two years ago and instantly fell in love with the charm of the South.
As the eldest daughter of five siblings, I have always had a nurturing and professional demeanor, which led me to pursue an Associate degree in Early Childhood Education. I am excited to continue my journey in the field of teaching and further my education to better serve the future generation. With strong Islamic values and a deep love for the Quran, I strive to incorporate these beliefs into my teaching practices. In my free time, I enjoy exploring different forms of art and finding creative ways to engage children in learning. Let's make a positive impact together.
