Ms. Rama Abu Khass

My name is Rama Abu Khass. I was born and raised in Jordan, I moved to North Carolina a few years ago. I grew up believing in the beauty of Islam and wanting to make everyone see its beauty. I am deeply committed to igniting inspiration and fostering empowerment within the Muslim community. With a desire to illuminate the beauty of Islam, I embarked on a journey of education that has touched many lives.

Having initially worked at the Islamic Center of Triad (ICT), I quickly found myself within its diverse programs. Over the course of three years, I have dedicated myself to teaching, nurturing, and guiding students with passion and dedication. For me, ICT is not just an institution; it is a second home, a place of learning and growth. Therefore, being part of Ibn Sina Islamic Academy since its establishment is a source of immense pride and gratitude.

Beyond my academic pursuits, I find joy in the simple wonders of life. A devoted lover of cats, horses, and the natural world, I carry a deep love for the beauty and tranquility of nature that Allah blessed us with. I love languages, I speak two and I am learning the third until I reach fluency. 

As a graduate of GTCC, I am eagerly anticipating the attainment of my bachelor’s degree in the next few years, Insha'Allah. As I embark on this next chapter, I look forward to meeting the wonderful students of Ibn Sina Islamic Academy and assisting my fellow teachers in creating engaging and exciting classroom experiences. With a heart full of passion and a mind teeming with knowledge, I am poised to continue making a positive impact on the Muslim community, one step at a time.
