Dr. Mujahid

Al Salam Aliukom,

My name is Mujahid. I was born in the US, and after a few years, my family decided to move to Palestine. I was raised in Palestine and Al-Hamdulillah I was blessed to remain there until I completed my bachelor's degree in Industrial and System Engineering.

During my time in Palestine, I had the opportunity to attend an Islamic school from kindergarten through 12th grade, where we took additional courses beyond the standard Palestinian curriculum, including Islamic Jurisprudence, Hadith, Prophetic Biography, Quran, and Tajweed on a weekly basis. Additionally, I participated in Quran memorization programs three times a week for nine years.

After graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Industrial and System Engineering, I moved to Greensboro, NC, where I obtained my Master's and PhD degrees in Computational Data Science and Engineering.

Al-Hamdulillah, I have been blessed to hold various educational positions in my career. I have served as both a teacher and a principal at different schools and have also worked in higher education in various roles at several universities and community colleges.

I am truly excited about the journey of the Islamic Center of Triad and the opening of the Ibn Sina Islamic Academy. I am more than happy to serve Allah (SWT), our community, our parents, and our students.

Let us work together to establish a successful Academy that will benefit our children and future generations. By joining hands, we can ensure our students remain steadfast in their faith. It is our collective responsibility to protect our families and children.
