Ms. Lubna Soobashah

My name is Lubna Soobashah. I am a passionate learner and a teacher. As a seeker of knowledge, I have continuously engaged myself in learning about Islam, whether through formal education classes, attending lectures, or reading, as it deepens my understanding and connection to faith and Allah subanahu talla.
I have earned a Bachelor’s degree of Art in Education and Certification as a Montessori instructor. During this time, I developed skills in classroom management, lesson planning, and supporting individual student learning needs.
Through the Certification I gained knowledge in child development and unique educational perspectives.
Alhamdolillah, I have over 7 years of experience teaching grades pre-k-2 in different elementary schools and 8 years of experience in teaching Islamic studies covering the basics of Fiqh, Aqlaaq-wal-adaab, Sunnah, Ahadeeth, and Aqaaid on weekend classes in an Islamic school.
As a dedicated educator with a passion for teaching Islam, I am committed to nurturing a love for the faith and a deep understanding of its principles among my students, Inshallah. My goal is to inspire and equip them with the knowledge and values to lead fulfilling and righteous lives.
I believe in a strong commitment to student success and Muslim community collaboration. I am excited to be a part of Ibn Sina Islamic Academy and to help the younger generation in achieving Islamic and academic excellence. Inshallah!
